Yellow Urges Court to Reject Ex-Workers’ Claims for Back Pay

Former trucking giant Yellow Corp. doubled down on its objections to its former workers’ demands for back pay and benefits as a part of its bankruptcy case, saying their claims are invalid.

Yellow is opposing claims brought by former employees who say the company violated the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act by failing to give proper notice of layoffs before its August 2023 bankruptcy.
