Yellow Cleared to Sell More Properties to Estes in Liquidation

Failed cargo hauler Yellow Corp. won court approval to sell additional properties to trucking firm Estes Express Lines for $142.5 million.

• Judge Craig T. Goldblatt said Wednesday he’d approve the sale of seven properties owned by Yellow and four additional leased properties in California, Miami, Ohio and other states, according to court documents
• Estes was among the several companies that acquired most of Yellow’s trucking terminals last year for about $1.9 billion
• Yellow shut down when it filed bankruptcy in August and has been sold its trucks and valuable real estate portfolio to repay creditors
