WIS Holding, Inventory Manager for Retail, Files for Bankruptcy

WIS Holding Company Inc., an inventory manager that lists retailers including Rite Aid, Macy’s and Walmart among its clients, filed for bankruptcy July 2.

The Chapter 11 filing in Delaware listed up to $500 million in liabilities and under $50,000 in assets.

The debtor, which has also counted Staples and PetSmart among its customers, according to its website, already sold most of its assets after a 2012 default, according to court filings.

Antares Capital LP, agent to its first-lien debt, made the decision to sell at that time, and a company sponsored by Centre Lane Partners LLC bought the assets ...
