Windstream Says Uniti Mediation Issues ‘Substantially Narrowed’

Lawyers for Windstream Holdings Inc. said mediation between the bankrupt telecom company and Uniti Group Inc. on their lease disagreement has intensified as the two sides approach a litigation trial scheduled for March.

  • “Those discussions have intensified and the pace of those discussions has accelerated,” Marc Kieselstein of Kirkland & Ellis, a lawyer for Windstream, said. “The issues have been very substantially narrowed.”
