Williams to Announce Data Center Partnership in ‘Near Future’

Williams Cos. is close to announcing a data-center partnership amid rising demand for pipeline capacityto fuel the artificial-intelligence boom.

A project with a “large, credit-worthy customer” is developed enough to fully support Williams ordering the necessary equipment, Williams Chief Executive Officer Alan Armstrong said during a conference call Thursday. The pipeline giant will announce more details soon, subject to a fully binding agreement, he added.
