The law firm Weil Gotshal & Manges billed Sears $7,651,483.25 for work it did on the retailer’s Chapter 11 case in December, according to a fee application filed with the bankruptcy court March 4.
That’s in addition to the $10 million the firm billed for work done in November and the $4.99 million billed for work between the bankruptcy filing on Oct. 15 and the end of that month, according to earlier filings.
