Weatherford CEO Exits After Company Emerges From Bankruptcy

Weatherford International Plc Chief Executive Officer Mark McCollum has left the company, roughly six months after the oilfield service provider emerged from bankruptcy.

Chief Operating Officer Karl Blanchard and Chief Financial Officer Christian Garcia together will form the Office of Chief Executive, reporting to the board, while the company begins to look for a permanent replacement, Weatherford said Monday in a statement.
