Venezuela’s Maduro Names PDVSA Board, Oil Ministry Officials

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro appointed new members to the board of state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela and created new posts at the country’s Oil Ministry, according to Official Gazette 6,836 published Wednesday.

• New PDVSA board appointees include:
  • Hector Andres Obregon Perez as PDVSA President
  • Marco Antonio Magallanes Grillet as Executive Vice President
  • Eduardo Lorenzo Pinto Salazar as Exploration and Production VP and president of PDVSA affiliate Corporacion Venezolana de Petroleo (CVP)
  • Gustavo Adolfo Boadas Díaz as Refining VP
  • Jannier Raul Viloria Quintero as Gas VP and president of PDVSA Gas
