Venezuela restarted the catalytic cracker unit at its Cardon refinery after a one-year stoppage, Reuters reported citing people familiar.
- Cardon’s catalytic cracker, which was down because of a failure and a lack of raw material, was processing 26k bpd on Tuesday while the Amuay refinery’s cracker unit processed 38k bpd, Reuters said citing one of the people
- The Paraguana Refining Center, which includes Amuay and Cardon, on Tuesday processed around 187k bpd, or 20% of its installed capacity: Reuters
