US Judge Cancels Citgo’s Final Sale Hearing Following Objections

Federal Judge Leonard Stark said a final sale hearing for Citgo Petroleum Corp’s parent company that had been scheduled for Nov. 19 has been cancelled.

• Stark said because of the number of objections to the Elliott unit’s bid, “I can’t have a final sale hearing on Nov. 19.”
• Stark spoke during a hearing on Tuesday
• NOTE: Last week Elliott affiliate Amber Energy Inc. won an auction for Citgo’s US parent, PDV Holding, with a bid for $7.3 billion
