US Bankruptcy Tracker: Five Weeks of Growth for Distressed Debt

The pile of troubled debt outstanding expanded by about $1.6 billion last week, marking a fifth straight week of growth.

  • The heap of dollar-denominated corporate bonds and loans in the Americas trading at distressed levels rose to $243.8 billion on Friday, about a 0.7% increase from $242.2 billion a week earlier, according to data compiled by Bloomberg
