US Bankruptcy Tracker: Distressed Debt Pile Inches Upward

The pile of troubled debt outstanding expanded by about $1.3 billion last week following three straight weeks of contraction, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

  • The heap of dollar-denominated corporate bonds and loans in the Americas trading at distressed levels rose to $169.2 billion on Friday, about a 0.8% increase from $167.9 billion a week earlier, according to data compiled by Bloomberg
