Unigel Participacoes is in talks with creditors to reach a standstill agreement amid the chemical industry’s “challenging scenario,” the company said in a filing.

• Temporary suspension of disbursements is the “most adequate strategy” to strengthen its capital structure and maintain performance in operations and investments, the company said
• Company says it’s committed to full continuation of its operations, including the construction of its sulphuric acid plant in Bahia state, which is slated to start up at the beginning of 2026
