A trustee liquidating uBiome Inc. is asking for court approval of bankruptcy procedures for selling off the diagnostic kit provider’s assets next month.
The Chapter 7 trustee, Alfred T. Giuliano, is aiming to close a sale of “some or substantially all” of uBiome’s assets by Dec. 19, he said in a Nov. 12 court filing at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Giuliano was put in charge of administering uBiome’s estate last month after the company failed to secure financing to reorganize in Chapter 11 due to unsecured creditors’ opposition.
