The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee is asking the judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings for USA Gymnastics to limit the committee’s duty to produce information to sexual abuse claimants, saying their discovery requests are “vastly overbroad” and duplicative.
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana should grant a protective order limiting depositions and production of documents related to claims brought by a group of gymnasts who were abused by former USAG team doctor Larry Nassar, the USOPC said in a Wednesday court filing.
