Turkey’s Hema Agrees With Banks on EU400m Restructuring Deal

Turkish engine maker Hema Endustri AS completes EU400m debt restructuring with 22 banks including a consortium led by Credit Suisse, company says in statement.

  • Hattat Holding unit agrees with 16 local banks led by Denizbank and a consortium of 6 foreign banks to pay back the debt in 10-year period
  • Company’s debt to Turk Eximbank transferred to banks’ consortium
  • NOTE: Credit Suisse Said in Loan Restructuring Talks for Turkey’s Hema
