The Department of Justice’s bankruptcy monitor appointed an official committee of retired employees in Tupperware Brands Corp.’s bankruptcy, despite objections from a group of lenders.
The US Trustee appointed seven retirees to the new committee, according to a notice filed Wednesday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Judge Brendan Linehan Shannon approved the formation of the committee on March 7.
