Trafigura to Move Another Supertanker of Forties Crude to Asia

VLCC Almi Hydra is now moored at Hound Point, the loading terminal for North Sea Forties crude in Scotland, according to ship tracking data compiled by Bloomberg.

• Tanker was chartered by Trafigura, a port agent report showed
• Last month, VLCC Gem No. 1, also chartered by Trafigura, sailed to Ningbo, China after loading Forties April 19-26
• Separately, VLCC Kassab is heading to Qingdao after loading Johan Sverdrup from Mongstad May 6-8
• NOTE: VLCCs typically hold about 2m bbl of crude
