Toledo Hospital Debt Reaches Record Low, Leads Bond Losses

Debt tied to Toledo Hospital fell to a record low on Wednesday, extending losses that began earlier this year.

  • The company’s 5.325% notes due 2028 fell 8.5 cents on the dollar to 61.5 cents as of 1:10 pm in New York, according to Trace bond trading data
    • The bonds traded as high as 120 cents on the dollar as recently as February
  • The company’s 6.015% notes due 2048 dropped 6.5 cents to also trade at 61.5 cents
  • The bonds were the worst performers in secondary trading as of Wednesday afternoon
