Telecommunications Provider TPx and Creditors End Debt Talks

U.S. TelePacific informed investors that debt negotiations with some of its creditors have ended, according to people familiar with the situation who asked not to be identified.

  • The Siris Capital-backed firm, which does business as TPx Communications, told investors it swapped proposals with an ad-hoc group of creditors that included Apollo Global on a confidential basis but failed to reach a deal
  • Representatives with Siris and Apollo declined to comment, while messages left with TPx were not returned
    • Affiliates of Siris bought TPx in February 2020
