The International Brotherhood of Teamsters objected to Yellow Corp.'s special litigation counsel Kasowitz LLP bid for $12.4 million in professional fees, saying the firm failed to meet its burden of proof.
The firm didn’t demonstrate that Yellow’s pursuit of litigation against the Teamsters and several other local unions “has currently or ever had a reasonable chance of success that outweighed the costs of pursuing the action,” according to the Thursday filing in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
