Tanure Makes Offer to Buy Braskem: O Globo

Nelson Tanure recently made an offer to acquire Braskem, Lauro Jardim column, published by O Globo, reports without saying how it got the information.

• Odebrecht would keep around 5% of the company
• Change of control would have to be negotiated with creditor banks - Itau, Bradesco, Santander, Banco do Brasil and BNDES
• NOTE: Braskem’s stock jumped 7% before trading was halted in Sao Paulo after the news
