Swedish Debt Collector Intrum Gets New CEO as Rubio Steps Down

The chief executive officer of Intrum AB, Andres Rubio, is stepping down with immediate effect following the Swedish debt collector’s recapitalization and exit from US Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.

Intrum’s board has appointed Chief Financial Officer Johan Akerblom as CEO with immediate effect, the company said in a statement on Monday. The search for a new CFO is underway, Intrum said.
