Stream TV Can’t Use Bankruptcy to Recover 3D Screen Assets

A federal bankruptcy judge tossed out Stream TV Networks Inc.’s case, making it harder for the company to recover its technology for displaying three-dimensional images on flat screens.

Judge Karen Owens ruled that the owners of Stream TV filed a Chapter 11 petition only to get an advantage in another court fight with lenders over its Ultra-D technology, which allows 3D images to be seen without the need for goggles or glasses.
