SS&C to Buy Calastone for About £766m (1)

SS&C Technologies agrees to buy Calastone from Carlyle, according to a statement.

• The acquisition is expected to close in 4Q
• SS&C sees the deal being accretive within 12 months
• Plans to fund the deal with a combination of debt and cash on hand
• SS&C was advised by Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP
• Barclays served as exclusive financial adviser to Calastone
  • Linklaters and Mishcon De Reya were legal advisers to Calastone in connection with the transaction
