Spirit Airlines Says CEO Ted Christie Stepping Down

Spirit Airlines CEO Ted Christie is stepping down from the company and the board effective April 7.

  • On interim basis, an Office of the President has been formed to lead the company until a new CEO is appointed
    • Office consists of CFO Fred Cromer, COO John Bendoraitis and General Counsel Thomas Canfield
    • Company in process of appointing permanent replacement
  • In addition, Chief Commercial Officer Matt Klein to step down
    • To be succeeded by Rana Ghosh effective immediately
