SpaceX Said to Pursue Share Sale at $800 Billion Valuation: WSJ

SpaceX is in talks to sell insider shares in a deal that would value Elon Musk’s rocket and satellite maker at $800 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

If confirmed, the new transaction would make SpaceX once again the world’s most valuable startup, surpassing a previous record of $500 billion that ChatGPT owner OpenAI set in October. Bloomberg couldn’t immediately verify the Journal’s reporting.

That would be a substantial increase from $212 a share set in July, when the company raised money and sold shares at a valuation of $400 ...
