ARB Interactive Inc., the operator of free-to-play digital gaming platform Modo Casino, won a bankruptcy court auction for Publishers Clearing House LLC’s assets.
ARB Interactive prevailed after 20 rounds of bidding at a virtual auction held this week with a $7.1 million offer to buy PCH’s assets out of Chapter 11, according to a filing Thursday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The winning bid also includes $378,000 in payments to assume contracts held by PCH and a potential to hire existing PCH employees.
