Sizmek Asks to Sell Ad Platform to Zeta Global for $36M

Bankrupt internet advertiser Sizmek Inc. is seeking permission to sell its advertising platforms to marketing company Zeta Global Holdings Corp. for $36 million.

The proposed asset sale, laid out in court papers filed April 19, is the company’s first since it filed for Chapter 11 protection on March 29 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Sizmek’s demand side platform (DSP) allows advertisers and their advertising agencies to place digital ads on millions of global websites. The company also has a data management platform (DMP) that processes non-identifiable information for the purposes of targeted advertising. ...
