Brockett is set to join Silver Point in about three months, according to people with knowledge of the matter. In his new role, he will help build out the firm’s private credit business and support its capital markets activities, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing a private matter.
Brockett most recently worked in Goldman’s leveraged finance capital markets division, having initially joined the firm in 2012, the people added.
