Scrubs Maker Careismatic Gets $125 Million Bankruptcy Loan

Careismatic Brands, a medical-scrubs maker that filed for bankruptcy on Monday, won approval to start drawing on a $125 million loan to help finance its bankruptcy.

  • US Bankruptcy Judge Vincent Papalia approved the motion for the financing, which includes 18% in fees
  • “It’s a big number,” Chad Husnick, an attorney with Kirkland & Ellis who represents the company, said referring to the fee in a hearing on Wednesday
