The families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims asked a bankruptcy judge to confirm they can pursue assets belonging to Infowars’ parent company, following a bid by Alex Jones to convince other courts the property is protected by a litigation stay in his personal Chapter 7 case.
Free Speech Systems LLC’s assets aren’t the property of Jones’ personal bankruptcy estate or subject to the litigation pause in his case, the families said in a Sept. 26 filing in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
