San Francisco city officials are looking for a little advice as they weigh whether to buy part of PG&E Corp.’s electric grid.
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is reviewing a short list of potential financial advisers for a bid, should the city decide to move forward, Barbara Hale, assistant general manager for power enterprise, said in an interview. The commission also plans to hire consultants to help decide which pieces of the grid the city would want to buy and appraise their worth, she said.
