Samson Bankruptcy Trust Loses $7.2 Billion Sale Clawback Suit

A settlement trust in the 2015 Samson Resources Corp. bankruptcy failed to show that the energy company’s former owners received an unjust windfall when they sold its main business assets to a KKR & Co.-led investor group for $7.2 billion, a judge ruled.
