Rite Aid will sell its intangible assets for $7.8 million, including customer loyalty data, as it works to wind down operations in bankruptcy.
The sale, which requires court approval, would also include trademarks, domain names, mobile applications, and rights to certain social media accounts, according to Rite Aid’s Dec. 5 filing in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
The asset purchase agreement lists an entity called Rite Aid LLC, also known as PMDLabs Inc., as the buyer.
A sale hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.
