US refiner Citgo added Juan Carlos Fonnegra to its oil trading desk as a manager of commercial business development, according to people with knowledge of the situation who asked not to be named because the information is private.
- Fonnegra will join Citgo in Houston in coming days
- He departed Colombia’s state-controlled oil company Ecopetrol in
December after a five-year run with the company, where he was the head of oil trading - Prior to Ecopetrol, he spent six years at BP in London and Chicago
- Citgo declined to comment
