Redbox Owner Hit With Worker Class Action Over Mass Termination

The bankrupt owner of Redbox Entertainment Inc. was hit with a class action complaint over its abrupt termination of some 1,000 employees following a judge’s order to liquidate.

Former employee Alex Golden filed the proposed class suit against Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment Inc. on Tuesday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on behalf of “thousands of employees” who were terminated without advance notice in July.
