RBC High-Yield Sales Director Voigt Resigns for Jefferies Post

Royal Bank of Canada leveraged finance sales director Maggie Voigt has resigned for a job at Jefferies Financial Group Inc., according to people familiar with the matter.

Voigt resigned Friday, the people said, asking not to be identified because the details are private. She reported to Elyssa Powell, RBC’s head of high-yield and distressed sales. Voigt joined RBC in 2020 from Morgan Stanley and was promoted to sales director in December, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Representatives for RBC declined to comment, while Jefferies and Voigt didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
