Quiksilver Australia, Volcom EU Arms Sold in Parent’s Bankruptcy

Clothing company Quiksilver Inc.’s Australian business gets sold in its parent’s bankruptcy, along with the European arms of swimwear brand Volcom.

  • The sale of Liberated Brands’ equity stake in Quiksilver Australia to Marhar Pty Ltd won court approval on Thursday
    • The consideration will be “pay-off of an ABL loan as well as a waiver of inter-company claims” that the Australian firm may have against any of the debtors, company attorney Zachary Manning said at the hearing
  • The equity interests of Volcom SAS and Volcom Distribution Spain S.L., are sold to OneTurn S.A.S. for $500,000
