Prospect Medical to Sell Pennsylvania Facilities for $50 Million

Bankrupt medical system Prospect Medical Holdings Inc. said it plans to sell its Pennsylvania ambulatory surgery centers and imaging sites to ChristianaCare Health System Inc. for $50.3 million.

ChristianaCare, a Mid-Atlantic hospital and healthcare clinic operator, submitted the highest bid at auction for certain Prospect facilities that remained in operation following hospital shutdowns last month, Prospect said in a notice filed Thursday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
