Prospect Medical Gets Nod on $86 Million Connecticut Asset Sale

Bankrupt Prospect Medical Holdings Inc. secured court approval to sell two Connecticut facilities and related properties to a Hartford HealthCare unit for $86.1 million after resolving tax lien issues raised by two towns.

No qualified, competing bids were submitted for Rockville General Hospital and Manchester Memorial Hospital or their associated ambulance businesses and endoscopy center, Prospect attorney Maegan Quejada of Sidley Austin LLP said during a Friday hearing in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
