Philly Hospital Group Settles Tenet Row for Bankruptcy Wind-Down

The bankrupt parent of two Philadelphia hospitals has agreed to resolve a protracted dispute with service providers that had threatened to derail a $50 million sale and its orderly wind-down.

Center City Healthcare LLC’s mediated resolution with a Tenet Healthcare Corp. subsidiary and Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions LLC smooths a path for its Chapter 11 case involving two historic hospitals in the city.

The dispute stems from the sale and service contracts established when Center City acquired Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in 2018 from Tenet Business Services Corp.
