Pharmaceutical manufacturer Pernix Therapeutics Holdings Inc. filed for Chapter 11 protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, court filings show.
The New Jersey-headquartered company has estimated liabilities of $100 million to $500 million, and estimated assets of $100 million to $500 million, according to the filing.
Adam G. Landis , of Landis Rath & Cobb LLP in Wilmington, Del., filed the petition.
