Perelman’s Vericast Reports Earnings Drop Amid Inflation Pain

Ronald Perelman’s Vericast Corp. saw its revenue and earnings tumble amid inflationary pressures and a pullback in consumer spending.

A measure of the company’s earnings for the three months through July 2 dropped 29% from a year earlier to $76.9 million, according to people with knowledge of the results. Total revenue for the quarter was down 11% to $557.9 million, from $626.1 million the year before.
