Partners Group to Buy Australian GreensquareDC, to Invest A$1.2B

Partners Group to acquire Australian data center provider, GreenSquareDC Partners and plans to invest as much as A$1.2 billion to transform GreenSquareDC into a next-generation data center platform, according to a statement.

• GreenSquareDC will become an owner, developer, and operator of large-scale sustainable data centers across key Australian cities, generating revenues under long-term take-or-pay contracts with global hyperscale customers and cloud operators
• Clifford Chance and Alvarez & Marsal were advisers on the transaction
• NOTE: Partners Group’s Infrastructure business has $27 billion in AuM globally
