Partners Group Nominates Former Finma Chief Angehrn to Board

Swiss alternative asset manager Partners Group AGnominated the former chief of financial regulator Finma, Urban Angehrn, to its board of directors, according to a statement on Thursday.

Angehrn led the watchdog from November 2021 to 2023, the period leading up to the collapse of Credit Suisse.

Prior to Finma, Angehrn was Zurich Insurance’s Chief Investment Officer and a member of the executive committee.

Partners Group has around $150 billion of assets under management across private markets including buyout, infrastructure and private credit.
