Panasonic’s Blue Yonder Hit by a Ransomware Attack (1)

Panasonic subsidiary Blue Yonder yet to form a timeline to restore services disrupted on Nov. 21 by a ransomware incident, co. says in an online statement.

  • Blue Yonder, which provides supply chain management software to retailers, manufacturers and logistics companies, said on its website it’s working with cybersecurity firms to restore systems
  • Grocery chains Morrisons and Sainsbury are among those affected, CNN reported earlier
    • Morrisons said it reverted to a backup process; “outage has caused the smooth flow of goods to our stores to be impacted”: CNN
    • Sainsbury told CNN it had “contingency processes in place” for Blue Yonder outage ...
