Panama’s government said more than 33,000 tons of stockpiled copper concentrate from the Cobre Panama mine have been shipped, according to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
- The shipment of the concentrate is gradual and depends on technical, logistical and weather factors, the ministry said
- Plan for the shipment of concentrate is supervised by the Environmental Ministry, Panama’s Maritime Authority, the National Customs Authority and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, according to the statement
