Omnicare’s Bankruptcy Bidding Procedures Prompt Union Challenge

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers objected to Omnicare LLC’s proposed asset bidding procedures, saying it’s unclear the impact of a sale would have on worker rights.

The union, which represents 30 current and former employees of an Omnicare affiliate, proposed adding language to the bidding procedures to clarify how collective bargaining agreements will be handled, according to its Monday objection in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
