A petition filed by Oi requesting the dismissal of Chapter 15 proceedings remains pending in the US, and a hearing on the matter is scheduled for Oct. 21, according to a statement filed by the company to Brazil’s securities regulator.
- Oi also said that the US court overseeing the case denied another petition filed by the company, requesting the termination of the effects of the 2023 ruling that recognized its judicial recovery process in the US jurisdiction and the termination of Chapter 15 procedures
